Steven spent more than 30 years in banking and lending, lending over $1 billion across his career, before moving into M&A advisory. Decades on the other side of the table taught him what actually drives value in a property.

As a banker, he kept seeing the same thing across his customers' buildings: short-life assets eligible for bonus depreciation that nobody had identified. He'd also used the strategy on his own investment properties. So he founded Orion CostSeg to find those savings for owners nationwide, and today Orion identifies millions of dollars in short-life assets every year.
